WAKE UP
Excuse me I understand that your sleeping but your gonna have to wake up
Seems now a days we’re just doing way to much
Look on the news there’s to many people dyeing
Face drowned by the tears there no more room for crying
Does anyone realize what’s been going on lately?
Tragic in New Orleans, African, Tiland, and Haiti
We’re hurting our friends, family and disrespecting our mothers
It’s not white on black crime anymore, because we’re hurting each other
The girls having babies like some on and off game
Boys disrespecting them calling them everything but their names
Feels like our time is pacing, what’s wrong with our nation, lets start a new generation and turn the radio station
Now a day we’re doing way too much
I understand that your sleeping but your gonna have to wake up!!!
Barack is our 1st black president
And you’ll think we want the same
But certain people is just not going to change
It’s up to you to keep it moving or stay in the same lane
It’s like we’re bleeding within an unsafe cut
Plan to change but do the same and we do all this for what
Everyone needs a house that they can call home
Or some one to give them hope when they feel hope is gone
In every weak person lies someone strong
We don’t have any directions and this rode that we’re on
Some call it a blessing some just luck
To my enemies, family, friends, and school
Let’s all just wake up.
