.. Look out for the "Songstress of R&B"… Patience Monroe. She’s creating a youthful spark into the R&B, Soul, & Hip-Hop community. New Jersey born, Patience is the epitome of what a true star is! At the young age of 3, Patience began singing. She, at this young age, was entered in talent shows, beauty pagents and dance competitions! At the young age of 8, Patience began to sing in her church and school choir. She then moved to Chicago, and at this point she knew that she was destined to be a star. Being in her school choir in Chicago, she was given the opportunity to perform at the Chicago Music Awards, at which she and her choir won two years in a row, both where she sang as the soloist. At the age of 11, she sang at the Childrens Museum in Indianapolis, Indiana. At the age of 13, Patience’s passion for music became “insatiable.” In addition to her vocal talents, Patience. also demonstrates her creativeness through her writing skills, by writing all of her own songs. She has written all of her songs as well as songs for other artists! Patience brings a sense of reality to her audience and to the stage. She speaks about things that normal 18 year olds go through, but her music is so powerful, that even people twice her age can relate! Whether it is writing about relationships, fun times, or life in general, Patience is guaranteed to touch everyone who listens to her music! Patience is taking the music industry to even greater heights! With such inspirations as: Minnie Rippleton, Alicia Keys, Heather Headley, and Vivian Green, she is truly destined to take the music industry by storm! "Praticing daily and continuously living under Gods wing is the only way to accomplish your goals," said Patience when asked how she stays so humble! She is currently in the process of finishing her first album, but this is only the beginning of this young adults’ career! Currently being compared to greats such as the late Aaliyah and Ciara, she is definitely a force to be reckoned with!
